Checking an electrician’s licence
You can check any Queensland electrical licence through the Electrical Safety Office’s online licence search, and NSW licences through NSW Fair Trading’s licence check. It’s worth doing for anyone who works on your property.
Compliance paperwork
When electrical installation work is finished it must be tested, and you should receive the certificate required in your state. In Queensland that’s a certificate of testing and safety. In NSW it’s a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW). For commercial projects we also supply test results and as-built information as specified.

Safety on site
For commercial work we prepare Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for high-risk construction work and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) where the project requires them, and follow each site’s induction and permit systems.
